Today I am sharing my story and review of Smile Brilliant’s custom-fitted night guard. I have reviewed a few Smile Brilliant products in the past and have had the best experiences with them.

My Experience with Teeth Grinding
I used to have no issues with sleeping through the night. However, the last year or so I have struggled immensely with nighttime restlessness and teeth grinding.
As funny as it sounds, I would even have frequent dreams where my jaw was locked shut and I would literally be trying to pull it open within my dream.
Consequently, I would wake up with a terrible headache and sore jaw.

Smile Brilliant Custom-Fitted Night Guard Process
Similar to their custom-fitted whitening trays, Smile Brilliant ships the impression kit straight to your door.
You will receive one tray and two sets of the Base and Catalyst Pastes. The additional set is there just in case you mess up your first impression.
Creating the impression is quick and easy! The instructions are very easy to read with helpful images to follow. There are even images that let you know what your final impression should and should not look like.
If you feel uncertain, customer service is available to walk you through the process and help you determine whether your impression was correctly made or not.
Once you have an accurate impression, you place it in the prepaid envelope with your information card and mail it off to the lab! Best of all, your impression will stay on file just in case you need any quick replacements in the future.
My Review of Smile Brilliant Night Guards
As I stated above, the whole process of ordering the night guard was very easy! I received my lab created night guard quickly and was very excited to see how much it would help my teeth grinding.
I predicted that it would take a few nights to really get used to sleeping with my new custom-fitted night guard. However, the first night was not a struggle at all. I personally did not experience any excess drool or gag reflexes while trying to fall asleep.
The first morning with my night-guard was the biggest relief! It honestly felt like my jaw slept on a memory foam mattress all night long. I finally got to wake up without any headache or jaw pain.
It has been a few weeks of continuous use of my Smile Brilliant Night Guard and I have noticed a huge difference in my quality of sleep! I now wake up without any jaw pain or headaches.
Needless to say, I wish I ordered a night guard a long time ago.
