Happy October, Everyone!
I hope you have all had a wonderful week so far! I am just a few days away from my fall break {teacher} and I am literally surviving on coffee and optimism. Coffee. and. optimism.
Speaking of all the coffee, does anyone feel that their teeth stain way faster during the cooler months? I can’t tell if it’s all of the pumpkin lattes or just the lack of self tanner (haha), but my teeth have been anything but sparkling or white. My Toothbrush History
Let’s get personal…I would give myself an A- when it comes to all things dental. I floss and brush my teeth twice daily and get my teeth cleaned every 6 months as recommended. I have been using an electric toothbrush, but couldn’t quite figure out what the hype on it was! My teeth would still become stained regardless of what brush I used.
The turning point happened during my last dentist visit. I had my first cavity in years. I mean…like 10 years! I was in disbelief. I felt my A- slowly fall to a C average and I am not about that life haha! The dentist even suggested that it was time for a better electronic toothbrush. Unboxing my Caripro
With my CariPro, I received an instruction manual, charging port, toothbrush and two brush heads. I love the simple design and neutral colors! Likewise, I love that it comes with an instruction manual. I am pretty sure I had no idea how my previous electric toothbrush really worked.

What Makes the CariPro Different?
Unlike other electronic toothbrushes that I have tried, the CariPro has 5 different settings to improve your oral health! These settings include:
- Clean – standard mode for daily use
- White – most powerful mode to remove stains and deep clean
- Massage – stimilates gums
- Gum Care – gentle mode to clean the gum line
- Sensitive – gentle version of “clean” for daily use
Likewise, the brush head itself is rubberized to protect tooth enamel with a back side to scrub your tongue. My previous electric toothbrush head was a hard plastic and mannn was I always afraid of bumping my teeth with it!

What I love about the CariPro
I am a huge fan of the built in timer! The CariPro is designed to brush your teeth in 2 minutes. Every 30 seconds the toothbrush pauses for a split second as a way to tell you to start brushing a different quadrant of your mouth.
Likewise, I love all of the settings that Smile Brilliant has included in their CariPro. Here are my thoughts on each setting:
Clean: This is the every day use setting and feels great on the teeth! I used this setting at first, and my teeth always felt super clean.
Whiten: This is my new every day setting. It is a little stronger than “clean” but I like the stain fighting quality of this setting! This has done WONDERS to those yellow coffee/tea stains that I get on the bottom of my teeth.
Massage: This one feels super nice on the gums! I don’t use this as my daily brushing mode, but I will use this along with whitening. I usually tilt my brush at a 45 degree angle and brush along my gums to give them a little TLC.
Gum Care: This one seems like a gentler version of “massage”. I do not use this setting as much as “massage” but it also feels nice on the gums!
Sensitive: I will definitely use this setting after treating my teeth with a whitening kit. This setting is basically a gentler version of “clean”.
Lastly, I love how clean the brush looks! Aesthetics and presentation are everything and Smile Brilliant gets it! The CariPro looks so nice on my bathroom counter! I just love the simple design and small charging port.

My Overall Thoughts on the Caripro
I absolutely love my CariPro Ultrasonic Electric Toothbrush! I love the size of the toothbrush head. It isn’t too big and clunky, but it’s not small and round like most electric toothbrushes. I feel the mid-sized toothbrush head really covers a lot of tooth area without feeling like I’m going to accidentally bump into and chip a tooth. {anyone else have that fear with large toothbrushes?!}
I have definitely noticed a change in the upkeep of my teeth. I usually find a little bit of yellowness on my bottom teeth after drinking my morning coffee. I refuse to drink hot coffee out of a straw, so I love that this toothbrush actually takes care of the stains daily.
