Holiday shopping is officially around the corner whether we are ready or not. While we have plenty of time until all of the upcoming Holiday Season and Black Friday deals, there are just some things that will sell out as soon as they are put back on everyone’s radar.
Uggs, Stanley… Birkenstock. It’s only a matter of time before direct inventory is sold out and tripled in price on Mercari (resellers give me the major ick).
As an LTK creator who constantly studies sales analytics (kinda for fun, but also for work), I can tell you that this year will be another year for Boston Clogs, Ugg Slippers and the infamous Stanley Cup.

The Ugg Ultra Mini Boots were one of the most popular products of 2022. By the end of October, everyone wanted a pair and they sold out so quickly!
By Christmas time, the mini boots were on everyone’s list, but nowhere in site. If you have been wanting the Ugg Ultra Mini Boot, now is the time to purchase!

2. Ugg Tasman & Tazz Slippers
The Ugg Tasman Slipper became popular right after the Ugg Ultra Mini Boots all sold out. It was kind of “the next best thing”, since no one was able to get the Ultra Minis. However, it quickly became a trend in it’s own right.
They sold out by Christmas time last year!
I actually like the Ugg Tasman Slipper better than the Ultra Mini Boot! they are easier to slide on and off and look so cute with chunky knit socks.
The Ugg Tazz Slippers (platform slipper version) are gaining a ton of momentum, now! These are the platform version of the Tasman. They will sell out quickly, but I have a feeling the return rate will be high–They are not easy to walk in! Kind of defeats the purpose of comfy casual shoes if you ask me.
Needless to say, Uggs are starting to sell out, so now is the time to grab a pair!

Stanley Tumblers have been on the rise for some time now, but Christmas 2022 brought the Stanley obsession to a whole ‘nother level.
Everyone wanted this particular Stanley Cup for Christmas, but they were sold out everywhere. Of course, a bunch were listed on Mercari for more than double the price (we all hope resellers’ pillows are always uncomfortable, sweaty and unevenly flat at night, right?)

4. Lululemon Everywhere Belt Bag
These Lululemon Everywhere Belt Bags are so convenient, trendy and sell out quickly during the holidays! It’s one of the best gifts for teens and young adults.
The fall fabrics will be released soon and you will want to grab them ASAP as they sell out quickly.
I don’t personally own one, but it’s on my list this year! I am waiting for the bronzy rust color, “ancient copper” to return. I don’t know if it exists anymore…but I want it!

5. Birkenstock Boston Clogs
Birkenstock has been around for a long time and their popularity comes and goes with the trends. With that being said, it is definitely a Birkenstock era!
The Birkenstock Boston Clogs were a major hit last fall and winter! They were all over TikTok, but difficult to find in stock.
Now is definitely the time to purchase if you have been wanting them! The Shearling Clogs are already beginning to sell out, but are fully stock here and here.

6. New Balance Retro Sneakers
New Balance Retro Style Sneakers are another classic item that comes and goes with the trends. 90s apparel has been trending for a while, which brings back the chunky “dad” sneaker.
New Balance 327 were a quick sell out during this year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. They even sold out faster than Nike! I have a feeling these retro styles will definitely be the sneakers of the season.

7. Pumpkin Clove Candle
Dramatic, but this Pumpkin Clove Candle is the BEST smelling pumpkin candle of all time. They sell out to “back order” status typically by Labor Day, so I always buy one the moment they are back for the season (one candle usually lasts me around 2 fall seasons since I don’t burn daily).
Most of the time the back order date is towards the end of fall, which defeats the purpose of having a fall candle… if you want it, grab it!

8. Halloween Pajamas
My son had his first Halloween last fall and I made the rookie mistake of waiting until October to buy Halloween Pjs for him. They were long gone!
If you want holiday jammies, unfortunately you have to buy them 2+ months in advance these days. Oh nooo, we have to wear our Spooky Season jammies early now… hehe

9. Christmas Pajamas
I learned quickly from Halloween that Christmas Jammies need to be purchased early. Once I see them released online, I grab a few pairs!
They typically aren’t released until the end of August/Beginning of September and throughout all of October, but once they are released some sizes sell out quickly! Typically the toddler sizes (18m-3T) go first.
By the time it’s actually the Christmas Season, the “meh” styles (cough*red & black buffalo check*cough) will be the only fully stocked inventory (meaning fully stocked in all sizes). It’s okay though, we rocked buffalo check jammies last year haha!

11. Christmas Garland
I was so surprised with how quickly Christmas Garland sells out! I just so happened to purchase a few different styles of Christmas Garland last September to compare (blog post coming soon!) They were already starting to sell out at the time, crazy huh!
Luckily, some styles came back by November, but it was slim pickings. This Norfolk Pine Garland was a big hit on my LTK, but sadly it sold out before Thanksgiving.
It never hurts to buy Christmas decor in general ahead of time! Lights, trees, garland, wrapping paper?! Do yourself a favor and prepare yourself now!

While none of these items are essentials, they may or may not have been on your wishlist for a few years now! That, or a loved one’s Christmas list. It never hurts to treat yourself and/or a loved one early!
Fortunately, the majority of these items are useful and quality pieces. If an item sells out year after year, it must be pretty good!
