Happy Summer Everyone!
Ok, you all know that I am a teacher and summer break is my happy time. Well folks, pop open the riesling, because it’s officially my happy time! I truly love and will miss my students, but I cannot wait to catch up on sleep, travel and relax! Best of all, I finally have the energy and motivation to start and finish alllll the projects.

Honest Review:
As I stated earlier, I have used quite a bit of brands of essential oils. I know for a fact that quality oils do not have to be so dang expensive like some brands sell them! I love that Simply Earth avoids all middlemen in order to sell their oils at an affordable and honest cost.
The scent power of these oils in a diffuser is AMAZING. I live in a two story town home and I diffuse my oils in my kitchen which is the farthest room from my stairs. I can smell the “summer blend” all the way to the top of my stairwell! It isn’t overpowering or obnoxious at all, just a perfect balance of pure scent.
Likewise, I mentioned how I am prone to getting headaches. I used to love burning candles back in the day, but now they make me so sick 🙁 I was happy discover the healthier alternative of essential oils, but some brands actually give me terrible headaches too! Luckily, I can diffuse Simply Earth Essential Oils all day, e’er’ day without fail. They are honestly the real deal.
My favorites:
Star Anise Oil – Can I get a gallon of this? Kidding…but kind of not kidding too. I am obsessed with black licorice and this scent is heavenly to me. What’s interesting is my husband can’t stand black licorice and he still loves this scent! He denies that is smells or has anything to do with black licorice. To him it just smells like spicy candy.
The recipe cards – I know that oils can be used for just about everything, but I also don’t have the knowledge or creativity to come up with DIY essential oil projects. These recipe cards, plus their helpful blog posts have really expanded my knowledge and love for essential oils!
Any Cons?!
Honestly, I cannot think of anything I dislike so far. Whenever I come up with something that I could possibly dislike, it ends up being countered by another plus.
For example, I was worried that the monthly boxes would be “a surprise” like other oil companies have. I like a good surprise every now and then, but I want to know what I am purchasing ahead of time. With Simply Earth, you can check the website to see what they are sending for that month. Or, you can not check the website and let the box be a surprise, if you are into that sort of thing. We all win 🙂
Likewise, I was worried that I would see the next monthly box online and find that I already own the oils being sent. Or in some rare occasion, I would feel like I can’t use the recipes or I wouldn’t like the oils being sent. However, if that were to ever happen, I could always opt skip a month with my subscription.
Like I said, I really cannot find a con to share. The people behind Simply Earth have really thought about every little detail and they really have their customers in mind!
