The Best Neutral Halloween Decorations from Amazon – Spooky yet Chic

Well, this is one way to take my mind off the record breaking heat wave we’ve been having in Phoenix. I declare it Spooky Season! For my mental health…

I was never really a Halloween girly. I LOVE fall and kind of just tolerated Halloween, but not the gruesome, terrifying decorations that pop out at you. You will never see me at a Haunted House. Ever.

However, my son is a Halloween Baby (missed the 31st by a few hours) and I just love that! Halloween is going to be the most exciting time of year for him once he is old enough to understand.

Therefore, I am officially a Halloween Girly…but make it cute!

Here is what we have so far! This plum autumnal garland is just stunning! I didn’t have to “zhuzh” it up at all—it just looked like a masterpiece once I placed it on the mantle haha!

I keep these small clear command hooks on the mantle year around and attach whatever seasonal garland I want.

I love LOVE putting up these paper bats on the wall every year. This year, I decided to use this adhesive wall putty from Amazon, since we ran out of the adhesive strips the bats come with (going on 3 years with these little guys!!).

If you get the paper bats, GET the putty! The adhesive wall putty is way easier to use and they have stuck on to our textured walls much better.

I will add much more to this living room space once we get closer to September. I always add a curtain of Fairy Lights, “Stars” as my almost two year old son calls them, behind the TV.

Until then, I will be enjoying my middle of August Chic Halloween decorations 🙂
