Easy Upgrades for the Coziest Christmas Bedroom- with Wayfair

’tis the season to be COZY!

One of my favorite parts of the holiday season are the decorations. I can easily do without receiving gifts, just give me all the cozy Christmas blankets, trees and lights to enjoy all season!

I like to say that I delicately go all out with Christmas decor around my house. While my living room is always decked out completely for the holidays, all of the other room ends up having some sort of holiday spirit.

I believe you do not have to spend tons of money on seasonal decorations. To me, it is the intentional decor pieces that make all the difference. Cozy textures, warm fabrics and a Christmas color scheme goes a long way!

This year, I found the perfect guest room and bedroom decor pieces at Wayfair!

The Coziest Christmas Bedroom Upgrades

We all know how holiday decor can be quite expensive for something that sits in the garage/storage for most of the year. Therefore, I like to avoid “thematic” Christmas decorations (Santa Claus, snowman, etc.) and opt for more pieces that allude to Christmas, but can be used differently throughout the year.

These pieces include, cozy textures, warm fabrics, touches of holiday colors! This strategy makes it very easy to decorate for the holidays without spending a fortune. Best of all, most of these pieces can be used differently throughout the year!

Simple Swaps – Cozy Textures, Warm Fabrics & Holiday Color

Throughout the year, I like to keep all bedding white. Cotton is a must for me! Not only does it match just about any decor, but it is affordable and easy to wash all together without colors bleeding or fading.

Best of all, white bedding becomes the perfect canvas to add in seasonal decor!

For the holidays, I love how this gorgeous burgundy velvet quilt looks as a topper to my white duvet comforter. It looks like a brand new comforter just in time for Christmas, but it can be easily folded, vacuum sealed and stored away after winter.

The color is perfect for fall and winter and the added texture on the quilt allows it to not clash with the velvet green curtains.

I may have found the softest faux fur throw blanket ever! This cozy faux fur throw blanket adds so much wintry texture to the room. However, the neutral gray can be used throughout the year as well.

Trust me, my beagles know a soft blanket when they see one. They are obsessed and you and your guests will be too!

It’s honestly the perfect “wrap yourself in a blanket and walk to the coffee maker” kind of blanket.

Little Christmas Accents go a long way

Red and green (well, burgundy and sage) do go a long way when making a room feel like Christmas. However, it’s the smallest accents that can make all the difference!

Accent decor is typically budget friendly and requires minimal storage if not in use. Win win!

I love to add little tabletop Christmas trees wherever possible. They are affordable, easy to store and they rarely clash with the rest of my decorations.

These coral tabletop Christmas trees were the perfect addition to the nightstand!

Likewise, this sequin Christmas tree throw pillow may be the smallest piece on the bed, but it is easily the main character! I feel like the entire room would be “lost” without it.
