8 Amazon Summer Outfit must haves! Cute + Good Quality
One thing about Amazon Fashion is: you never truly know what you are going to get. Is this dress as cute as the online photo depicts? Or, am I going to receive a see-through chunk of fabric with a side of loose threads?
Thank God for Prime. On the other hand, I personally appreciate a helpful review on certain items to help eliminate having to return anything.
For me, it’s all about the fabric and fit. If the outfit fits like a dream but has the same fabric as a staticky halloween costume…it’s a no for me.
Similarly, if the fabric is the perfect cotton and linen blend but fits me like a tent, it’s also a no. Pretty much, if Amazon fashion prices are going to start resembling Nordstrom’s lower end fashion prices, they better be matching in quality.
Today, I wanted to share some of my favorite Amazon Summer Outfit must haves that I truly love!
8 Amazon Summer Outfit must haves!
The Perfect Vacation Dress
This cream maxi dress with black detailing looks so elegant and classic! What a perfect vacation dress for walking around the shops, grabbing dinner on the pier or going for a mojito at happy hour.
The fabric is 100% Viscose, but it looks and feels like a very lightweight linen. This is my favorite fabric for summer dresses. No static, no excess sweating, no cheap appearance (most polyester dresses on Amazon give me halloween costume fabric vibes).
The straps are adjustable and this dress is lined with pockets. I ordered my normal small and it fits well with flexibility since the bodice has smocking (in the back) and the straps are adjustable.
Matching Workout Set
Nothing beats an early summer morning walk/run. The sun is out earlier, the weather is usually at its best and it just makes your day feel so productive! I love wearing cute matching workout sets not only for my morning walks, but they are the perfect errands outfit!
This sage green matching workout set is actually two separate products. These sage green running shorts are lined which is a must! They even have a little zipper in the back to keep a key or small wallet. This pair of lined athletic shorts became famous for resembling the infamous lululemon shorts!
The matching sage green long line sports bra is one of my most comfortable workout tops! It is also lined with a shelf bra and removable inserts. I sized up to a medium (usually a small) because I like my workout tops to feel less clingy on the skin.
The Beach Vacation Dress
This fitted tank dress belongs on a beach vacation! I saw this dress and immediately knew it was going to be comfortable and flattering. Sometimes you can just see what the fabric is going to feel like! This dress is stretchy, lined, forgiving and comes in such fun colors!
I am currently 5 months pregnant and love a good stretchy, form fitting dress! The stretch is enough to keep my normal size, so I will be able to wear this long after baby is born.
Some reviews mention the side slit being very high. I am 5’3 and did not find this slit to be too high for comfort. I feel like it hits at my thighs which is no different than wearing a pair of shorts a mini dress.
The Everyday Maxi Dress
I have had this turquoise smocked maxi dress for a few years now and it’s always been a go to for me! It is beautiful enough to wear to a wedding, but casual enough to wear out to dinner on a random Tuesday. There are so many colors to choose from!
This summer dress is 100% Viscose which is one of my prefered fabrics for summer! Any Amazon Summer Outfit that is made of viscose, cotton or linen is appreciated during the hot months here in Arizona. The fit is true to size with flexibility since the bodice is smocked and the straps are long ribbons of fabric.
The Swimsuit Cover-up Summer Outfit
If I’m going to buy a swimsuit coverup, it should be able to be worn as a separate outfit. I said what I said. This breezy button up set is the best find! There is a good selection of colors to choose from (love the green!) and it is such a versatile set!
You can wear this Amazon summer outfit to the beach over your swimsuit, or you can style it with a white tank top underneath of a casual out and about look. This matching short set can even be styled up with a pair of block heels and jewelry for a nicer dinner look.
This set does fit true to size while still feeling relaxed. It is hand wash only, so keep that in mind.
The Breezy Farmers Market Summer Outfit
Summer is for mid morning farmers market runs with an iced tea in hand! This green floral maxi dress is another amazon fashion find that I’ve had for a few years now. It has gotten so much wear and tons of compliments each time!
The fabric is 100% Rayon, so it’s very breezy and cool to the touch. I will say it is on the thinner side, but I usually wear bike shorts under most maxi dresses for comfort anyways.
This dress is also hand wash only, but I have accidentally ran it through the wash machine a few times and never had any issues. Always air dry with thin rayon fabrics!
I sized up to a medium (usually a small) in this dress, because the description mentioned it having a slim fit. The medium fit me great with a little flexibility since the bodice is smoked. I probably could have done a small as well, but I really like the not-so-clingy fit that sizing up 1 provided.
The Sleeveless Ribbed Dress
There’s always those situations where you are going out to dinner or to some place where you want to dress nice, but not fancy. A fitted ribbed dress is always my go to! They look elegant and classy just by how stretchy they are, but they also look casual and comfy.
I own a few ribbed dresses with different thicknesses. The thicker the ribbed material, the heavier it feels but also the more the dress ‘holds you in’. This sleeveless ribbed dress is more on the lightweight, thin side. The fabric feels stretchy and somewhat smoothening, but it is not super heavy or stuffy in the warmer months.
I ordered my normal size small and was happy with the fit!
The Casual Errands Summer Outfit
If I had to choose a favorite Amazon fashion purchase, this everyday casual neutral outfit would easily be within my top 3. I love and wear this set enough to own it in 3 other colors (lotus, deep blue and gray blue).
I personally wear these casual matching sets as my everyday errand running outfits. They are comfy, but look cute and a little more put together than leggings and t-shirts (which I am also a fan of haha).
I sized up 1 to a medium for these and love the more relaxed fit! However, I would say they are pretty true to size. The fabric is a cotton polyester blend, which I approve of. They’ve been through the wash and dryer many times and still look great!
Easily one of my favorite Amazon Summer outfit finds!
