I think I may have found THE best Amazon dresses for weddings, photoshoots and pretty much any semi fancy occasion.
I was in the search for the perfect family photos dress, but did not want to pay over a hundred dollars for something I’d only wear a few times. *Amazon enters the chat*
I ordered a few dresses that were under $50 and they all were perfect! Every now and then I make an Amazon purchase that feels like I’ve hit the Amazon jackpot. This was one of those purchases.

The Perfect Wedding Guest Dress

This mauve long sleeve velvet maxi dress is a dream! I have seen a similar version for nearly triple the cost on another boutique’s website. It would be the perfect wedding guest dress, family photos dress and just about any special occasion dress.
I can see this dress being a gorgeous bridesmaid dress too! Especially when all the bridesmaid dresses are different styles and fabrics (love that wedding trend).
I was pretty impressed with the fabric quality! To be honest, I was expecting halloween costume velvet, but it is a gorgeous soft ribbed velvet.
The mauve color and poetic sleeves make the whole dress feel very princess-like! Runs true to size for the most part. When in doubt, size up one! The waistband is elastic, so you really can’t go wrong with a little extra fabric.
The Perfect Family Photos Dress

This dress is the perfect neutral maxi dress for family photos! It has a gorgeous silhouette with little subtle gold sequins all over.
This was the dress I chose to wear in our homemade family photoshoot (tripod, remote and iPhone camera portrait mode). I love how delicate and ethereal the dress looks during golden hour!
The dress is pretty true to size! I found that the top portion felt a little loose, so I added a small safety pin for a bit more security. The dress is lined and has an elastic waist which makes the dress fit well. It really is so stunning!
I probably wouldn’t wear this color to a wedding (a little too close to white), but the dress comes in a variety of other colors. This would easily make a beautiful bridesmaid dress.
The Perfect Baby Shower Dress

This dusty blue off the shoulder maxi dress is gorgeous on! This would make the perfect baby shower and maternity photos dress. It is another dress that I have seen on more expensive boutique websites! However, this particular dress is Amazon prime and comes in a few other colors as well.
The dress is pretty long, but perfect with heels! I am 5’3 and the dress still grazed the floor even with heels on. I believe it fits true to size, but I sized up one for newborn photos. I wasn’t sure how the dress would fit, but I knew I would still have a bit of a baby bump a few weeks postpartum. The waistband and shoulders are all elastic, so the dress fit despite being a size up from my normal small.
This dress would also make a beautiful bridesmaid dress or engagement photo gown! It really is stunning and very versatile.
The Perfect Date Night Dress

This is one of the most fun dresses I’ve found on Amazon! The color is way more of a hot tamale red in person than what you see off the website. I prefer a bold, orange red oppose to a dull bluish red.
This dress would be the perfect Valentine’s day dinner outfit, but honestly could be worn anywhere! Vacation, the holidays, date nights, weddings, etc.
This red dress fits true to size and has a tied bodice. I love the tie style, because you can tighten the bow to give yourself a custom fit. Comes in tons of other colors too!
