Happy New Year, Everyone!
This is the year that I get organized and live in a clean, put together and tidy home. (ha…) More like, this is the year that I try and get organized in January, give up by February and then resort to my usual lifestyle by March.
All jokes aside, I am determined to get organized. Like… it’s all I’ve been pinning lately. (step 1!)
I like to call myself a cluttered clean freak. I hate the idea of a messy house. I will clean and scrub for days as if it’s my hobby! Too much clutter makes gives me a little anxiety, but yet clutter is the bane of my household existence. I just cannot keep it tidy!
One moment my house is clean and smelling of thieves essential oil, then two hours later I am literally tripping over shoes and shuffling through all of the acquired items on the kitchen island just to find my car keys.
With that being said, I have been finding all the tips, hacks and products that really can make a difference in my home! I know I am not alone in this (or am I?!), so I have decided to create the ultimate organization product list for all.

Holiday Decor Storage
Nothing is more frustrating than trying to “un-deck” the halls. I usually end up throwing everything in a box and stuffing it in my storage closet. Then, I regret it the following year once I am spending an entire day untangling Christmas lights…

There is nothing like the sound of rummaging through the pots and pans trying to find the correct lid. The clinks and the clatters grow louder and louder while you replace all common courtesy with shear determination (and a mad look in your eyes) to find that lid. It gets found. 5 minutes later. Frightened husband watches from living room sofa.

We all want a pinterest worthy organized pantry! I really believe in the power of organization. If my pantry is neat, organized, uniformed and tidy, then of course my life will be.. hehe!

Fridge Organization & Storage
Fact! I am more willing and able to eat healthy if my fridge looks clean. If we jam pack our fridge, then I just feel everything in there is “old” or “questionable”. Fridge organization is a must!

Spice Organization & Storage
One of my biggest kitchen pet peeves is having “stuff” all over the counters. My husband believes counters are made to hold items, but he’s crazy… counters are meant to be completely empty and constantly wiped clean. (really, I’m the crazy one.)
Mismatched spice jars from different brands are only a reminder of how unorganized and chaotic my life is. I don’t need that negativity, so I hide them all in a drawer. Organizing them inside uniform spice jars seems more sane… #goals.

Kitchen Sink & Cleaning Storage & Organization
There is nothing glamorous about anything that dwells beneath my kitchen sink. I often see it being forgotten and avoided all together. Until one day I explore and realize I have unopened cleaning products, a surplus of sponges and dish detergent that I keep repurchasing. I tend to just put things where they belong with no system in place. I mean, cleaning products all look the same hidden in the dark behind sink pipes. It’s time to get organized.

Bathroom, Shower & Vanity Organization
Bathrooms are such clutter traps! I hate knocking things over on the counter while trying to do simple tasks such as, washing my face. Nothing is more startling at 6am than an aluminum hairspray bottle falling to the tile and dragging the deodorant along for the ride. Personally, I don’t buy many products for this reason. However, if you hate cluttered spaces as much as I do, these storage solutions are perfect!!

Linen Closet & Laundry Organization
In a perfect world, all of our linen closets and laundry spaces are complete with organized baskets, neatly folded “fluffy” towels and the same colored hangers. However, you and I have better things to do with our time than mastering the art of folding a fitted sheet. We can at least make it all look pretty with some linen and wicker baskets!

Closet & Drawer Organization
If there is one thing I need to organize, it would be my closet and clothing drawers! So much time is wasted digging just to find whatever I’m determined to wear. If it is anything black, forget it. I’ll be there for days… If you are among the peasants like I am, and you don’t have a closet the size of a living room filled with YSL bags, then you need all the storage solutions you can get!
