Amazon Fall Outfits – N-sale Inspired 2021!
Hey Everyone!
This year was by far the hardest year to shop the sale for many of us! Unless you had the top tier status (meaning you spent over $16k at Nordstrom during the year), most items sold out before we were even able to shop.
It’s slim pickings now AND the sale hasn’t even opened to the public yet… 🙁
I really hope-believe-pray Nordstrom changes their infamous Anniversary Sale back to the good old ways. “Early Access” should include all the cardholder tiers at once and last only a few days. I remember they used to even reserve inventory for public access too!
Luckily, the items this year are pretty basic and there are tons of great inspired pieces!

Nordstrom Anniversary Inspired Outfits – Try on!

Review:
The Plaid Shacket (shirt jacket) is actually really soft! I was expecting a stiff felt-like material, but it’s pretty dang good! This will look so cute over T-shirt dresses, graphic tees and tank tops. I paired it with my favorite Amazon Sweater Tank.

Review:
This Free People tunic inspired top will get tons of wear! I love the oversized fit for tucking into jeans, maternity and post-baby attire. The material is soft and I can’t see why I’d pay $50 for the Free People version at this point…
These Over the Knee boots are a steal! I have the Steve Madden version (in black) and actually prefer the Amazon version more! The boot is super stretchy and thick, so they form to your legs and won’t roll down. I don’t have super skinny calves and they are still very comfortable on! Wearing the 3″ block heel version.

Oversized Sweater with Suede Mini Skirt

Review:
I am currently 5 months pregnant, so I cannot say I will be able to wear this Suede Skirt this fall. Nonetheless, it is a steal! It runs a little small according to the reviews, but if you follow the given size chart I feel like it is accurate.
I sized up to fit my current bump and it has quite a bit of stretch! Not too short either! I personally only wear mini skirts with an oversized top (balance!). This Oversized Sweater is perfect! Very soft knit and flattering on.

Review:
This is an outfit I will live in this fall! Again, this Oversized Sweater is perfect! Very soft knit and flattering on. I love how versatile it is with jeans, leggings, skirts and over dresses.
I actually wore a thin belt over my dress and tucked the sweater in. You can keep the dress length, or you can use the belt to raise the skirt length a bit. (reviewing the dress and booties below!)

Review:
This Leopard Print Dress is it! The fabric is lightweight but not flimsy by any means. I will get tons of wear during my third trimester (when it’s fall).
I actually prefer these Amazon booties over my Vince Camuto’s from last year’s sale! While the nordstrom booties are better quality, they also feel stiff and super narrow on my feet. By the end of the day, my pinky toes are dying. These Amazon booties are a lot softer/flexible and don’t kill my pinky toe… lol.

This Camel Coat is a stunner! Like most Amazon fashion items, it arrived with creases from being folded. However, it steamed super easily. I use this quick and easy steamer.

Review:
I was super bummed when all of the cute midi sweater dresses sold out at Nordstrom! Luckily, this Ribbed Turtleneck Midi Dress is of excellent quality!
The ribbed material is stretchy and not thin at all. It is quite flattering on! I just wish it had a slit (not brave enough to cut one myself… thought about it though hehe)

This Free People Sweater inspired find is a new fav! It is actually more oversized and chunky looking than my photo shows. The knit is thick, soft and it comes in more colors than Nordstrom offers. I plan on ordering more for post-baby winter outfits.
I was actually able to snag the original Free People Sweater from this year’s sale (early push present to myself hehe), so once it arrives I will report back on similarities!

This Camel Button Cardigan basically replaces one of the cardigans I had on my wishlist (that sold out within days…).
The color is perfect and I love the tortoise shell buttons. I love that Amazon cardigans do not tend to pill. This one is cozy and made well!

Saving my favorite dress for last! This “Tangerine” Ribbed Turtleneck Dress is stunning! It’s the same version as the black dress above, but in a gorgeous rust shade.
While there is not a dress exactly like this on the Nordstrom Sale, I just fell in love with this color! It’s a fresh take on the typical burnt orange I wear during the fall.
This Beige Chain Purse reminds me a lot of the YSL camera bag. I actually wish the YSL camera bag had the chain and leather strap combo! The Amazon purse is very roomy inside, excellent quality and really looks like an elevated purse! (and I am a huuuge YSL bag fan…)

As someone who lives in the desert, I cannot justify spending $200+ on a coat. This is a great alternative for those (few) days that hit below 60 degrees. …or when I just want to pretend that I am an important business lady living on the East Coast.
