Favorite Products of 2020

Hello Everyone!

Happy December! Happy Holidays! Happy end of 2020! Happy everything!

Finding the “happy” in my day has been the key to surviving 2020. Anyone else?

While this year was a difficult one for many of us (myself included), I am grateful for the silver lining that 2020 has brought.

The comfort of staying home. The simplicity of having “fun” without needing to go somewhere. Treasuring conversations and in-person interactions, because they were kind of rare after March!!

Oh, and my skin has never looked or felt better now that I rarely wear foundation… haha!

Now that we have reached the end of 2020, it’s crazy to look back and realize it was all only a year. So much happened! So much personal growth and life changes! Can 2021 be, like, really chill? Please…? We all need to catch our breath.

As a way to reflect on the happy moments of 2020, I wanted to share the Favorite Products of 2020! These are all a combination of the top selling products on the blog. No surprise, most of the items were centered around home 🙂

Here we goooo!

Favorite Products of 2020

Here are the top 10 selling products for my blog. Interestingly enough, all of these products just so happen to be my favorites as well hehe!

Every image includes a “shop the image” section below. That way, if you see a product you love you can shop it!

10. Outdoor Modular Sectional

patio sectional, outdoor furniture, modular sectional, outdoor decor

When I think of spring quarantine 2020, I think of chilly spring mornings on this patio set.

We originally ordered this sectional, because we knew we were adopting puppies soon. We wanted to be able to sit and watch the puppies play in our yard.

Little did we know we would be on lockdown… but lockdown in Phoenix during springtime is not such a bad thing!

I did my virtual office hours on this sectional! My husband, also a teacher, got dibs on the home office. (aka our dining table).

Our townhome was too small for us to both be talking/teaching at the same time. Kind of feels nostalgic looking back on those odd times!

9. Clear Dining Room Chairs

natural boho dining room. round oak table. faux tree. gallery wall. area rug. clear chairs. modern boho decor.

It’s crazy to think that 2020 was split up in two different homes for me! We had no idea we were going to sell our townhome and buy a house as soon as we did.

So happy it worked out the way it did!

However, at the same time I wish I got to enjoy my townhome in it’s prime a little longer. I never had the means to decorate like I wanted until my blogging career started to pick up some speed in 2019.

I finally got the place looking the way I dreamed… and then we moved a month later haha!

Anyways, these clear dining chairs looked so chic in the small dining space! I love how they made the space feel open and bright.

8. High Waisted Ripped Skinny Jeans

abercrombie jeans, bodysuit, tory burch miller sandals

Shop the Image:

While I lived in leggings and joggers for most of 2020, these skinny jeans easily became my go to pair for when I wanted to be a bit more “fancy”. Yup. Jeans became the “going out” {to the grocery store} look.

I am a HUGE fan of this brand of jeans. I personally love the curvy fit, but they also have regular (non-curvy) in this style. (For size reference, I would say my body type isn’t necessarily “curvy”, but I am not super petite either).

7. Oshay Cognac Booties

Shop the Image:

The Nordstrom Anniversary sale was a little underwhelming this year. However, not surprising considering we are in a pandemic.

While most items were just “meh”, I did end up LOVING these booties.

I bought them randomly thinking I would like another pair better. However, I ended up keeping these and returning the similar Steve Madden pair.

The color is what sealed the deal! I love the soft, warm cognac shade with blue denim!

They have been on super sale recently too!

6. Barefoot Dreams Blanket

boho chic decor, barefoot dreams blanket, wicker basket, entryway console, boho christmas decor

Shop the Image:

It is no surprise that this dreamy blanket was a top seller this year! We are all at home most of the time, so why not invest in our quality snuggle time?

I personally bought the camel leopard print, however this plaid print was actually a better seller for my blog this year! I suppose leopard print isn’t for everyone hehe

They are mostly sold out (as per usual), however I will link other barefoot dreams blankets and more affordable pieces!

5. Faux Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree

Shop the Image:

This tree was super popular last spring and early summer! It is seriously the most realistic looking “fake” trees I have ever met.

My puppies were convinced it was real… they were obsessed with it at first!

I kept it in this white planter and this wooden plant stand. (both from Amazon) I think it will go in our new dining room too once the puppies exit their beaver phase…

4. Pampas Grass Stems

Shop the Image:

Funny story… I actually bought these as a last minute decor piece to help stage our townhome to sell.

This was back when my city was on lock down. I couldn’t go to any stores in person to pick up decor pieces, so I just purchased whatever I could find online.

I shared a photo of them in the background. They ended up becoming a top seller on my blog. Rightfully so! They are stunning!

3. My Favorite Candle

Shop the Image:

I purchased this pumpkin clove candle fall 2019 and it has become a household favorite! Even though it is pumpkin, I still burn it throughout the winter.

It literally smells like I am baking fresh pumpkin cookies!

I shared this early September, and it has continuously been a favorite on Guitar & Lace!

I actually purchased the cider version and ended up returning it… The pumpkin one is WAY better (cider one kind of gave me a sickening sweet headache)

I am curious to try the Christmas scents, but I may just stock up on pumpkin haha!

2. This Boho Egg Chair

egg chair, boho egg chair, boho rugs, boho decor, summer home decor, pampas grass, anthropologie mirror dupe, boho wall mirror, baskets, beaded chandelier, abstract art frame, pouf, geometric black and white rug, boho pillows

Shop the Image:

I don’t even own this chair, yet it has been a steady top seller since the spring time. I shared it in a collage since the reviews are AMAZING and it has just remained a blog hit!

I would have purchased it last spring, however I knew it wouldn’t have a place in my townhome. That, and it was hard to snag in stock.

Luckily it has stayed in stock for a while! (they must have ordered tons more inventory)

Now that we have a full yard at our new house, I just may snag it! I really wish the cushions came in a charcoal color… #muddypaws

It now comes in a mini version for kids and pets! SO cute!

1. This Black and White Moroccan Area Rug

black and white boho area rug, moroccan rug, living room rug, boho living room, living room decor

Shop the Image:

Coming in at number one is this moroccan print area rug! This was my living room rug at our townhome for over two years! It is a a slightly off-white color, but honestly it never showed stains.

I love how bright it made that room feel! We sadly had to roll it up and store it since our puppies started confusing the rug for grass during potty training haha!
