It’s the most wonderful time of the year… I mean, seriously!
Every year I tell myself that I am going to wait until Thanksgiving week to start decorating for Christmas! Let’s be real, my tree is up by the second week of November without fail.
I love easing into the holiday decor throughout the month of November, so it doesn’t feel overdone right away. I’ll start with a few pillows on the sofas, the tree up with a few berry sprigs and few cozy details here and there. Then, once it starts to feel more and more like Christmas time, I’ll add ornaments, fireplace garland and all the Christmas goods.
Here is just a little glimpse at my affordable and cozy Christmas bed starring my little beagle, Bailey. Guys, if anyone knows cozy, it’s Bailey…

Cozy Christmas Bedroom Decor – Affordable!
I ordered this SUPER affordable headboard with the expectation that it would look nothing like the photo and I may end up sending it back. I was ok with that risk, because it was so cheap! Once I received it, I was blown away by how lovely it looks in person! The texture and color is spot on.
I am also so in love with this duvet set. Not only was the set under $80, it is gorgeous in person! The “yarn dye” texture gives in a rustic, cozy almost linen look. The color is the perfect neutral without being brassy or pasty and my husband and I agree that it feels like we are sleeping in a cloud. The duvet zips shut and the zipper is very hidden! We filled it with a $50 alternative down comforter from Home Goods. Tip: order the King for a Queen sized bed! We love the extra length!
The Sherpa Throw is actually the backside to a buffalo plaid throw. As you can see, it has the Bailey stamp of approval for being snuggle worthy. It is sooo soft on both sides! Only $15!
The faux fur pillows and eucalyptus garland were Hobby Lobby finds! The fur pillows are currently 50% off with all Christmas Decor! The garland goes on sale for 50% off every other week, so I would definitely wait for the sale price! The plaid pillows come in a pack of 2. They are chenille and feel way more expensive than they were!
These Reindeer Mugs caught my eye! I thought about them for weeks until I just decided to buy. They are the perfect size for filling with cocoa and marshmallows! (or one big cup of coffee which I love to have on the weekends…) They also feel more like a copper mule material than porcelain which keeps your beverage warm. They are just so darn cute!
I love how simple, affordable and cozy all these pieces are! I love winding down from a long day with the pretty garland lights, some tea and Christmas music playing right before bed. Beagle snores included!
I cannot wait to finish decorating the rest of our house as the season begins!
