All in favor of putting the Christmas tree up tonight say, aye! Okay, I will at least wait for it to actually be November 1st hehe!
All jokes aside, we are actually planning on getting an early start on our holiday decor this year, since sweet baby boy is due to arrive November 9th. Things are about to get a little chaotic and cute with a newborn baby… which makes the holidays more exciting for us!
As always, I am finding the best and most affordable decor pieces on Amazon and Target!
I am loving the down to earth color schemes this year. We are thinking forest greens, cranberry reds and golden browns. However, as a self proclaimed “pinterest designer” I love coming up with all the themes!
I have seriously loved this annual tradition to share all my holiday decor (on Halloween haha) the past 4-5 years on guitarandlace.com so without further jibber jabber, here we go!

I love the look of layered mirrors on a mantle! I am going to try and recreate this look {somewhat} this year!
I also really see sparse green trees becoming more and more popular every year! They just feel more cozy and down-to-earth compared to the perfectly full flocked trees.

This look is perfect if you love the look of a more traditional tree, but want something a bit more modern! This is far from rustic and farmhouse-y, but still feels cozy and festive.
The fireplace pictured is actually an electric heater from Amazon! I have considered putting one of these in my bedroom every year haha!
Also, I have this exact mirror in black and LOVE it! We put it in our hallway bathroom and it is amazing quality.

This timeless wintry holiday theme is perfect for any home! It is cozy and wintry without being to 2016 rustic farmhouse… ya know what I mean.
I will forever be a fan of this flocked Christmas Tree! I had this exact tree at our townhome before we moved. It is just as stunning in real life and surprisingly doesn’t shed that badly!
