Well, September… you aren’t quite as cool as October, but I guess you can sit with us.

September is kind of an awkward month in Phoenix. It isn’t exactly summer, but it definitely doesn’t feel like fall. The kids have already been in school for a month, so it’s not even “back to school” season for us! Yet, we are all dying for a change and something to celebrate like the rest of the country… football?

Instead, we have lingering 110° weather with almost no hope in sight.

That doesn’t stop us though! We still march our little suede booties into Starbucks to get the obligatory Pumpkin Spice Latte. (I swear they crank the AC up a little extra to set the autumnal mood…)

I guess September is pretty much “Pretend like it’s fall” month. …but I’ll take it!

With that being said, I am DYING to share my most favorite trend for this fall!

Bell Sleeves.

I already can tell I will be living in this top this fall and winter! It is super soft and flowy and pairs nicely with denim and leggings. I ordered a size up to have a more cozy fit.

Goal: To match my favorite fall drink. Done. I love this cozy pumpkin colored sweater! The material is more like a sweatshirt, which makes it feel low maintenance. However, the large bell sleeves make it easy to dress up!

This Free People dress is everything! It is perfect to transition from summer to fall since it isn’t exactly a sweater dress. I also can wear this with higher boots and tights when the weather gets colder. Sadly, it is out of stuck… BUT I keep finding it on ebay! The price is much cheaper than what I originally paid! I also found one on Tradesy, for about $85.

I will post the link below to the original dress and a couple similar options.

I cannot wait to wear these outfits this fall! Pumpkin patches, corn mazes, and bon fires ahhh! The weather just needs to start cooperating. I hope you found this style share helpful and inspiring! Fall will forever be my absolute favorite time of year!

Until then, I’ll be here staring out the window (hand on glass) patiently waiting for you, fall!
