For one, I cannot believe it is finally October! For us Arizonians, October feels like the finish line to the roughest marathon out there. No more brutal 110° temps!
Secondly, I cannot believe that it has been two months since I’ve started blogging with my “monetized” blog! Honestly, it feels like it has been much longer than just two months. Most likely because I was caught up in the learning curve as a new blogger. That, and I teach full time.
Needless to say, August and September have been exhausting yet super exciting!

So my free trial is up. I feel that Tailwind could be a good idea, but I just can’t get myself to pay $10 a month. Honestly, I am still in that “excited to see $0.70 earned by Adsense last Tuesday” stage. Maybe this sounds like where you are at?
I support “aggressive business” strategies and investing in your blog, but as a full-time teacher trying to earn a little passive income for my wedding, I need to be a little cautious in spending any kind of extra money for now. During the beginning stages of my blog, I spent countless hours reading up on what other bloggers were doing. Sound familiar? I wanted to know which hosting platforms were the best, which traffic source brought in the most traffic and pretty much everything that leads to ultimate blogging success.
Naively, I just signed up for what everyone else was using, not realizing that what may work for a blog with THOUSANDS of daily views will probably not work for a blog with barely 20-50 views a day (my blog). Hey, you live and learn!
