Gone are the days of the insignificant wax candle in the clear shot glass and hellooo to the era of the decorative votive. Decorative votives have been a thing for a while on our coffee tables, however they have become an even bigger staple in wedding centerpieces. They really make all the difference IMO.
Whether you mix and match styles and textures or keep them all the same, they can turn the most simple decor into something worth pinning. Best of all, you can have them doubled as wedding favors, keep some for your own home or sell them on Swip-Swap. (They will sell fast!)
They are available at most craft stores, Target and Walmart, however purchasing enough for each table can be a bit pricey. What’s a bride to do? Amazon. I mean, it’s 2018, so it shouldn’t be much of a shock, but Amazon seriously has some great wedding deals! (I even saw some wedding dresses with outstanding reviews and customer pics as proof…)
Amazon has amazing prices, reliable reviews and of course, PRIME! However, if the prices don’t fit within your budget, I suggest DIY-ing your own fancy votives. I have a super easy and affordable tutorial here for those brides on a super budget.
